Director Amal Neerad, who was a Cameraman of Bollywood King Ram Gopal Varma is really talented and he has made his touches on his debut film BIG B. All shots are Perfect in this movie, the best shot is on interval, where mammooty Burns the Gypsy. Amal gives a Terminator effect to Mammooty at some stage of the movie. Anyway BIG B is an entertainer as a Directors MOVIE.

ChottaMumbai is the Latest Film from Mohanlal. The Film is Directed by Anwar Rasheed and is built entirely for Mohanlal Fans. The Movie has no Story Line,but its a Full Entertainer. The very First thing that you will notice on this movie is Mohanlal-s Introduction. Lal plays his old Costume , and a Jayan type Costume in his intro..with Famous song “Cheetikulangara” Re mixed. The very next thing is Presence of Sex actress Shakeela in the Film. One Day on an interview Shakeela said ” My dream is to act with Mallu superstar Lalettan in a Film” and she will be a Satisfied one. Most dialogues in this film has Double Meanings and this movie is not encouraged .

                    Jayam Ravi is off to Russia to shoot for his Dhaam Dhoom.

Directed by Jeeva, the movie would be shot for over 40 days in exotic locations of Russia. Acting opposite Jayam Ravi is popular model Kangana Ranaut.

This is the first time a movie is shot for such a long duration in Russia. Hitherto Russia had been a sought-after destination to shoot only song sequences.

Says Jeeva, “Predominantly action sequences and chasing scenes would be shot in Russia. The movie is more like a James Bond thriller and is filled with pulsating action sequences”.

Also in the cast includes Anu Hassan, Mahadevan, Chethan and Bose Venkat. Music is by Harris Jayaraj and dialogues by Ramakrishnan.

            Though director Teja’s ‘Jayam’ gave her a strong foothold in the industry and Vikram’s ‘Aparichitudu’ made her one of the top heoines, Sada couldn’t cash in on the films. Sada did several other films including Balakrishna’s ‘Veerabhadra’ but none of them could come near the above two in attracting the masses. But, however, Sada has no regrets. “I never planned a career in films. But I take in my stride whatever comes,” Sada says. Presently shooting for director K Vijayabhaskar’s ‘Classmates’, the actress says, “Acting in ‘Classmates’ was like going back to my college days. I enjoyed the role immensely.” Sada is also appearing in R G Vs bilingual flick with Madhavan, and a cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Shankardada Zindabad’. Interestingly, the actress doesn’t like partying, despite hailing from Mumbai. “I love to stay at home and spend time with my family,” Sada winds up.

CHENNAI: Sixteen years after a suicide bomber killed Rajiv Gandhi at Sriperumbudur near Chennai, memories of the assassination are revisiting Tamil Nadu.

The reason: two Tamil movies titled Kutrapatrikai (chargesheet) and Kuppi (cyanide capsule, in LTTE lingo).

While Kutrapatrikai was mired in a legal tangle for 15 years, the makers of Kuppi spent most of their time doing research, to ensure their film was extremely realistic. Kollywood observers say Kutrapatrikai, which laces facts with fiction, is about the LTTE carrying out the Rajiv assassination and, towards the climax, a similar attempt on former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa being foiled.

Kuppi is about Tiger Sivarasan (played by Marathi stage artiste Ravi Kale) and his six associates evading the police dragnet for 20 days, before ending their lives by ingesting cyanide capsules when their capture was imminent. “I have used almost the same locations, names and even dialogues,” says director AMR Ramesh.

The original Kannada version of Kuppi titled Cyanide- The Inside Story has had a good run in Karnataka and the filmmakers are planning to remake it in Hindi and English, with Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of DR Karthikeyan, who headed the special investigation team that probed the Rajiv assassination.

Karthikeyan, who saw the movie on Tuesday, told DNA that it 3virtually transported him back 16 years.

“Rajiv Gandhi was personally close to me and hence the subject has a big impact on me. Watching the movie, I almost re-lived those days of investigation,” he said. The former CBI director has also authored the book ‘Triumph of Truth — The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination — The Investigation’, in 2004.
