Born in Bombay Jyothika is the daughter of a film producer, Chander Sadanah, and Seema Sadanah.Jyothika has two sisters, Nandita (Nagma), who is also an actress, Radhika (Roshni), and a younger brother Rahul. Jyothika has a Psychology Degree from Mithibai College of Arts, Bombay.Jyothika is one of the very few Indian actress who had a clean image among the general public. Jyothika had dated Surya for over 4 years and married him on 11 September 2006. After the wedding, Jyothika announced her decision to stop acting. She’s expecting her first baby in the month of August 2007.However she continues to do ad films and some work for TV.

Meena started her career as a child artist in Telugu films and Tamil films. Meena acted with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and later became a star in her own right.  Meena had hits with Muthu, Ejaman, Veera and Avvai Shanmughi. Following the release of her movies with Rajinikanth in Japan and their commercial success, Meena’s popularity also rose in Japan. Meena  has acted in almost all the south Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada etc and opposite almost all the leading actors in these languages. Her first film as a child artist was ‘Nenjangal’ with Sivaji Ganesan.  Meena was in the film industry as the top heroine in Telugu and Tamil for almost one and a half decades successfully from the early 1990s. Meena often potrayed characters with unidimensional personality with no negativity and shades of grey.Meena  was also known to be limited as a glamorous actress though Meena  acted in a few glamourous roles like Maaman magal in Tamil opposite Sathyaraj and sneham kosan in Telugu opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi.

   Bhavana’s real name is Karthika and she has a brother named Jayadevan. Her nick name is Kaathi. Bhavana is a young, talented actress in the field now and has won the Kerala State’s “Special Jury Award” for the year 2002 for her debut movie “Nammal”. Bhavana’s dream is to become a cinematographer like her father or a movie director.

                               If it is your husband, you own him by a long leash. Kushboo is quite busy these days, playing the snoopy wife. Her husband, Sundar C., is making a debut as hero in Thalainagaram. He is paired with the hot Malayalam actress Jyothirmayi. As he plays a goon, the scenes with the lead pair are well, eh, quite sizzling. Kushboo was simmering about such scenes and when someone told her that hubby dear was enjoying himself doing them, Jyothirmayi hit the roof. Jyothirmayi decided to troop in with Sundar on his shoots and imposed a ban on any more intimate scenes. Jyothirmayi is also worried that Sundar is more than friendly with his heroine and is racking her brain to snap the new friendship. Take it cool, baby, you are also part of the film world!

Nayantara was given a costume to wear for her duet with Suryah. As soon as Nayantara saw the costume, Nayantara gritted her teeth and refused to wear it, asking for another costume.

                    Accordingly, the assistant director got her anothercostume. When one is in the fighting mood, there is no need for rhyme or reason. Nayantara unnecessarily showered the poor assistant director verbally for no apparent cause. When Nayantara threw tantrum at the production person serving tea too, the whole unit wondered what had made Nayantara change into such a Badrakali.                            Amidst all this, Nayan received a phone call from Chennai from the young hero with three alphabets to his name. It seems Nayan showered the actor with archana for half an hour on the phone. At one moment, Nayantara was raging so much that Nayan even flung her expensive cell phone. The phone smashed to bits, putting the whole unit into consternation.
