Even though he is very busy with his political carrier , veteran Tamil actor ‘Captain’ Vijayakanth has started the shooting  of his new turn movie   virudhagiri, directed by Vijayakanth himself and produced by L.K. Sudeesh under the banner of Captain Cine Creations.

The shooting started  on 21st november  at Rekha House in Saidapet, Chennai  S.K. Boopathy is the camera man

Virudhagiri, is expected to be an Indianised version of the well known  Hollywood venture Taken. Sundar C. Babu  plays  the music. heroine is not yet decided for the captain. heroines any one though are not important  in his movies, all knows that. The captain cine creations  banner  are planning to shoot the major parts of the film overseas locations in Australia and New Zealand. Viruthagiri is planned as Captain’s 2010 release

even though the  captain planned to start the film earlier in mid of 2009 , political busyness covered him, so  he now decide to take some rest from politics and concentrate on his dream project virudhagairi, his debut direction project.
