Thappana is a new Malayalam movie starring Superstar Mammootty in lead role . the movie is directed by jhony antony . Charmi will do the lead female role . After Aagathan , charmi is coming bacj to Malayalam . The movie will be produced by Milan Jaleel . The movie will be important for mammootty as his movies released this were not successful in box office . The movie will be a comedy entertainer . Except Pattanathil bhootham , all the other movies of Jhony Antony were successful . Thappana’s third schedule is now progressing near Ernakulam and is planning for an onam release .

Sethuramaiyar Is Back

Guess what , mammooty is back again with CBI series . His fasn haven’t forgotten the character Sethurama Iyer CBI which was a milestone in his acting career of Megastar Mammootty . Director K Madhu and script writer SN Swamy who has done the prequels too is gearing up for the next installment in the series . It would be titled Black Investigation . Out of four prequels , the first 3  were chart toppers and the last one was a mild success . Sources reveals that K Madhu would start working this project after the completion of his film Banking Hours 10-4 with Anoop menon and Meghna Raj . SN Swamy is working on the script for the last one year as he has to make it foolproof. Hope he has got something new under his sleeves and would rejuvenate the series .

Ranjith next with Mammootty

After their huge success with Pranchiyettan and Saint , fans of the duo should be very happy as that they are going to team again in Ranjith’s next movie . Mammooty should be starring as a car driver in this film .The shooting of the film is set to start after six months from now . The other cast and title of the film is not yet finalized . Ranjith is now busy with his Mohanalal project Spirit which would be wrapping up this month and after that only he would be engaging his next .Mammooty is busy with Jhony Antony’s Thappana . Director said that the film would be very funny from the start to the right end . it tells the story of two brothers . This would be lal and Mammootty’s another family entertainer after Thommanum Makkalum which was a big hit .
