Asin Thottumkal is an Indian actress who works primarily in tamil and hindi films . She started her acting career through Satyan Anthikad’s Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka in 2001 . this was her only film in Malayalam . Then she moved into tamil and telugu films . Surya’s Ghajini brought her the break through in tamil industry receiving appreciations for her performance . Asin retained her female lead role when ghajini was remade in hindi which spots her debut in hindi film , the film was a blockbuster all around the world . Then she acted in a number of hindi films such as Lonon Dreams, Ready with Salman Khan . Her upcoming release in Hindi is Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 2 . She had opened her mind that she would like to act in Malayalam film if there is proper script and a good director .

its a new buzz in the mollywood mallu own Asin is getting ready to act in her first malayalam movie.She will act in the new movie of Mammotty Mathilukalkkappuram.Its said to be a sequel to Mathilukal.Asin will be doing the role of Narayani (who got released from jail).Vidya Balan was said to do this role,put according to the current news,asin will be doing this and Shyama Prasad will be directing this movie.
